Title” Ksheeer Neer Nyayam” - The phenomenon of milk and waater. The painting is based on the Vedic concept of the discriminatory power of wisdom written in a metaphor of the swan, the vehicle of Saraswati, the Goddess of learning, wisdom and the arts. The swan has the ability to tell milk from water, and will only drink the milk. The swans eat pearls, another metaphor for wisdom. They live in the highest lake in the Himalayas. Without them Saraswati cannot give her wisdom and knowledge.
