" Raaslila "

Sale Price: $0.00 Original Price: $3,000.00

Raasslila, in Sanskrit, refers to the divine dance between Consciousness and the Soul-Bride. Raas is the quintessence of enjoyment, like nectar we taste. Traditionally, Krishna dances with many Gopis while Radha remains at the center, or with Radha alone as he plays the flute—symbol of Consciousness itself.

In my interpretation, the blossoming rose evokes this sacred union, making it easier to grasp the deep concept of Advaita (non-duality). It moves us beyond Victorian notions of “sin” and duality, inviting us to see joy and unity as the essence of life itself.

Oil on canvas.
